John Waterhouse invites us to consider the lessons shared by the master teacher, Jesus, as we remember his experience on planet Earth on Easter Day. Jesus’ transformative message to the world contains much of the wisdom and ways of the Magi. Was their true gift to him their faith and its central idea that there is one uncreated presence through which all good flows? Well known quotes attributed to Jesus in John 10:30, 38 and John 14:11 reflect this abstract concept: “I and my Father are one,”  “believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him” and “he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.” The master teacher gave us an incredible opportunity to transcend the mundane and transform life into something mystical and wonderful and beautiful. Sounds like what we do at CSL. Listen to the end for a bonus: John’s metaphysical translation of The Lord’s Prayer.  – A Metaphysical Interpretation of the Lord’s Prayer. (3/27/2016)
