Rev. Dr. John Waterhouse takes a closer look at relationships that come into your lives for a reason, for a season, or for a lifetime. Often a medical provider or legal person might come to our lives because of a specific reason. Once the need has been fulfilled, then we go our separate ways. The nature of relationships is that they end, but with seasonal relationships, it appears that they might be for lifetime … until they aren’t. Use the teaching of Dr. Seuss, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” Most people think that Lifetime relationships include mostly family members. John encourages us to remember that we’re always at choice and that we shouldn’t feel obligated. (3/1/2020)
